Red Diamonds

Red diamonds are extremely rare and wonderfully unique – very few people have ever seen one in person. The 5.11 carat Moussaieff Red, a modified triangular brilliant, is the largest known red diamond in history.

Red Origin

Red diamonds were found in the Argyle mine in Western Australia and in parts of Brazil.

Colour formation

Red diamonds and are formed in the same way as pink diamonds, by crystal distortion. They are essentially very strongly and deeply coloured pink diamonds.
